The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is recruiting volunteers to assist with a variety of projects!
9am-12pm Shift
Volunteer tasks during the morning shift may include:
- Kids Café Lunch Bag Assembly
- Backpacks for Kids Kit Assembly
- Sorting through and Repackaging Incoming Donations
1:00-4:00pm and 5:00-8:00pm Shifts
Volunteer tasks during the afternoon and evening shifts may include:
- Emergency Food Box Packing
- Commodity Supplemental Food Program Box Packing
- Backpacks for Kids Kit Assembly
- Sorting through and Repackaging Incoming Donations
For all of our shifts, please come prepared to assist with any duty! Thank you for your flexibility!

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio, having made possible over 55 million meals in 2017 to hungry people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland and Richland counties. The Food Bank’s mission is to ensure that everyone in our communities has the nutritious food they need every day. We do this through both food distribution and SNAP outreach efforts.
