Mission Statement
Crime Stoppers of Minnesota’s mission is to assist law enforcement in solving crimes with the help of anonymous tips provided by members of the general public. We seek to make the neighborhoods and communities a safer place to live and work. We provide the people of Minnesota with a safe alternative to silence.
Description
Crime Stoppers of Minnesota provides the public with the ability to submit information about crimes and fugitives in a manner that keeps them anonymous, and offers a cash reward for information when it leads to a felony arrest. We submit those tips to law enforcement agencies across the entire State of Minnesota for investigation. We are an all-volunteer organization using advanced technology to receive tips, forward them to law enforcement, communicate anonymously with tipsters, as well as conduct all other operational functions of a nonprofit organization. Our Board members are doers to help us operate as a responsible nonprofit and critical thinkers to keep us viable to our stakeholders of the public, law enforcement and the media.
