ORGANIZATION: Creative Emajinations

Committees and advisory groups are made up of two to three volunteers and community members of the board with particular expertise and a shared passion for Creative Emajinations mission.

Please review the following committee descriptions below to become a member with Creative Emajinations learn how you can help we can use your help in making sure young underserved performance Arts youth are represented. Committee members will receive the same level of recognition as Creative Emajinations board members. We are a performing arts charity that exist to support aspiring artist we hope that you will join us through out our journey.

Time Commitment: Meet once a month or bi-monthly
Term: 1-2 year Minimum
Location: Virtual

Advisory councils assist the board in carrying out their work by providing expertise and advice in selected areas. Advisory councils do not have any governance responsibilities and are a good way to include former board members, potential board members, subject matter experts without being placed on the board.

The Program Committee involves planning and general oversight of the organization’s programs and the size of the board. It is a good way to be involved in the organization’s work. Non-board members can serve on the Program Committee or on its subcommittees.

Finance oversees development of the budget; ensures accurate tracking/monitoring/accountability for funds; ensures adequate financial controls; often led by the board treasurer; reviews major grants and associated terms.

Fundraising Committee will oversee development and implementation of the Fundraising Plan; identifies and solicits funds from external sources of support.
A recognition program to help identify, develop, and implement a recognition for Volunteers, Board Members, Chair etc

Marketing will develop and implement the Marketing Plan, including identifying potential markets, their needs, how to meet those needs of our products/services/programs, and how to promote/sell the particular programs working with the development team to include generating fees for those product/services.

Administrative guides development, review and authorization of personnel policies and procedures; sometimes leads evaluation of the CEO; assists with leadership and management duties.

Public Relations (PR) represents the organization to the community; enhances the organization's image, including communications with the press.
