Honoring our brave veterans of the past is a time honored tradition by which all American should celebrate.
This year the Pandemic delayed the Annual Flag Setting at the site of veteran graves with flags on Memorial Day. American Legion Vandiver-Moylan Post 355 in Bala Cynwyd, PA would like to extend an invitation to all to place flags at over veteran 1800 graves in the beautiful and picturesque Westminster Cemetery.
As an outdoor event, we will be able to practice extended social distancing and are looking for volunteers on Friday, May 13, 2022 (from 2:00 - 5:00 pm) and Saturday, May 14, 2022 between (9:00 am - 12:00 pm) AND (12:30 - 3:00 pm)
Although you are not required to mask you are welcome to do so. If you need a mask, please ask us for one.
We will provide training on how to recognize veteran graves when picking up your flags to be distributed.
These Our deceased veterans are speaking to us in a secret language of stone. We cannot wait for you to hear them.
Free Coffee and donuts as well as the opportunity to win one of (5) free yearly memberships in the American Legion Post 355, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Please respond no later than Wednesday, May 11, 2022 if you are interested in helping to provide a valuable service to your community.
