Your donation of Professional Development books to WHW's Library will provide a source of education and help boost the confidence of those who want to make a better life for themselves and their families.

Books may be sent directly to WHW in Irvine, CA 92614 or dropped off on Fridays from 11am to 3pm at WHW's Donation Center, located in Irvine on the corner of McGaw and Jamboree. During this Season of Giving, you have the opportunity to give the gift of employment by supporting WHW job seekers!

Mission Statement

Since 1993, Women Helping Women has focused on one thing...preparing people to secure good paying jobs. We guide individuals to pathways of possibility with proven programs and services provided at no charge. Facilitated employment readiness webinars, one-on-one job search assistance, resource sharing, professional apparel and supplemental tools have helped thousands of women, men and youth confidently navigate the job market maze with success.

Description

We are workforce development professionals who help those facing real barriers navigate an uneven job landscape. We proudly enter the equity space to contribute to a more just and verdant society. Our intentional focus is serving women who are domestic abuse survivors, human trafficking victims, formerly incarcerated, foster youth and housing insecure. However, we also serve all job seekers and have very robust programs catering specifically to men and male youth. For 27 years, we have served job seekers in need at no charge, many of whom are referred by over 60 non-profits - achieving "true" wraparound services for the individuals involved. Our applied expertise allows those who have endured some of life’s harshest realities a new way forward where they own their self-sufficiency and economic mobility. Their upward trajectory and success is our great reward!
