Title: Assistant Director, Events
This position is led by Kelsea McCurry
and is part of the Events Committee.
Job Description: To manage the Events Committee and work closely with the Events Director. (This role provides excellent management experience.)
Time Involved : Approximately 5 hours monthly including the monthly one-hour committee meeting. Will be held online for the remainder of the year through COVID-19 recovery.
Activities:
- Partner closely with the Director of Events.
- Coordinate the monthly Events Committee conference call to share, discuss, strategize, plan, and carry out Doing Good events.
- Partner with other Doing Good committees to work efficiently and effectively.
- Use Google Drive
- These activities are primarily on your own time and virtual, however someone located in the 14 county area of Middle Tennessee is preferred in this role in order to participate in the related meetings and other Doing Good activities.
Events: (Tentatively or online through COVID-19 recovery this year)
- Participate in monthly committee meeting to share, discuss, strategize, plan, and carry out Doing Good activities.
- Participate in the monthly Operations Call for all Assistant Directors.
- Held on the 2nd Monday of each month.
Responsibilities
- Strategize ideas with Doing Good Committees, Board, & Executive Director.
- Implement these ideas.
- Cross-promote Doing Good activities.
