Hello!
Put your office skills to good use! We are looking for a volunteer with office assistant skills or with a strong desire to learn office assistant tasks. This volunteer will be a vital part of our office team, filing, working on mailings, answering phones and more. The right volunteer will be available one to two days a week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10am and 2pm.
Volunteers should have some office experience and experience with filing and mailings; good phone presence and a willingness to help others is a plus. We are also willing to train someone with a desire to learn and the ability to be organized and accurate.
This is a casual office environment, with a small, friendly staff.

Our vision is to live in an environment where seniors and persons with disabilities are valued and are an active part of our community. We currently serve nearly 600,000 meals a year to over 7,500 seniors and persons with disabilities in Suburban Cook, Kendall & Grundy Counties.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
