Inspired Learning Academy is a non-profit microschool for 6th-12th graders located in Allen, TX. We are looking for someone with an expertise in filmmaking and/or video editing. This opportunity will be to facilitate a small group class (~3-8 kids) to walk through the filmmaking and editing process. We do not give grades. Teacher certification is not required, but experience in working with teens is preferred. Most of all, we are looking for an adult who would enjoy sharing their passion/expertise with kids.
The class will be held at the school facility once a week on either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 9:30-3:30. Class duration will be 1-2hrs.

Description
Inspired Learning Academy and Homeschool Center was established in 2017 with the aim to create opportunities for teens to explore their interests and passion in a community of like-minded, supportive members. Without rigid policies, competitive grading, and excessive homework and a common core curriculum, students are free to pursue what they want to learn, how they want to learn it - all with the support of a designated mentor. We offer individual and group classes according to the students' request.
