Inspired Learning Academy is a nonprofit microschool for grades 6th-12th graders, located in Allen, TX. We are looking for someone who has an expertise in drawing (pencil/colored pencil) and would be interested in facilitating a small group class (3-8 kids). Some experience in teaching teens is preferred, but not required. We welcome passionate artists who would like to share their talent and knowledge.
The class will be held at the school facility sometime between 9:30-3:30 (the class will be an hour/week) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Although in-person classes are preferred, remote teaching via Zoom can be considered.

Description
Inspired Learning Academy and Homeschool Center was established in 2017 with the aim to create opportunities for teens to explore their interests and passion in a community of like-minded, supportive members. Without rigid policies, competitive grading, and excessive homework and a common core curriculum, students are free to pursue what they want to learn, how they want to learn it - all with the support of a designated mentor. We offer individual and group classes according to the students' request.
