Beacon volunteers do the day-to-day work to ensure that guests have access to basic services. Many protocols and precautions have been put into place at The Beacon to protect guests, volunteers, and staff from COVID. It is important to note that we are considered an essential service. If you have any questions about COVID precautions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Shifts vary in length & are offered 7 days a week, between 8am and 4pm. Biggest current need is for computer lab volunteers. Roles include: assisting with the shower program, laundry program, kitchen services, and computer lab.
