When the time comes for a Veteran to use hospice services, we endeavor to provide them with the dignity, care and respect they deserve. For those that have bravely served, it is an honor to serve them.
Are you a Veteran, a reservist, or active duty personnel? Do you have a desire to give back to your close knit community of servicemen and women? If so, I encourage you to contact us today. Help us share their unique stories and experiences. Help us provide them with support from someone who understands their journey.

Mission Statement
At Amedisys Hospice we empower our patients to live each day of their lives fully by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Our patient-centered care aims to support patients through a multi-faceted approach: physically, mentally, and psychosocially.
Description
As an organization, we strive to provide the highest level of care possible to our patients and their families. In doing so we have developed programs to address the various needs of those under our care. Most notably our veteran's program and dementia care program.
Our We Honor Veterans Program endeavors to meet the unique challenges faced by those who served in the armed forces. By recognizing their unique contributions, giving them the space and opportunity to give voice to their stories, as well as provide them the socialization and companionship of veteran volunteers. Each year pinning ceremonies take place to honor and uplift these amazing individuals.
Our Dementia Program offers specialized support to our patients. Whether it be the use of condition-specific implements to ease day to day tasks, chart-a-life posters to help document patient narratives and facilitate conversation, or items for use in aiding in calm.
