Growing Up Guide Pup
On the red carpet in Minnesota

This is a work from home virtual position.

We are looking for service dog users who want to share their stories with us. The ups. The downs. Everything in between. We are looking for experienced bloggers who mitigate a disability by use of one of the following types of service dog vocations.

Guide Dog
Hearing Dog
Medical Alert Dog
Mobility Dog
PTSD Dog

Owner trainer and organizations teams are welcome to apply. We will require a zoom interview and some online demonstration work of the team. We will require online examples or a submission of the type of work we may expect.

This is a three month commitment with the expectation of one blog a month. The blogs can be lifestyle, gear, law, etiquette, or training related. The most important thread is they are always about service dog topics.

Therapy dog and emotional support dog topics are less favorable than service dog topics so please don't apply if that is what you want to write about.

Only serious inquiries please. You will work closely with the founders so they appreciate the help.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to Provide Service Dog Education to Help People with Disabilities Live More Independent and Fulfilling Lives. Tax ID #47-2288228

Description

Service dogs do amazing things to improve the lives of the persons they are assisting. In recent years, the numbers of people using service dogs and the number of services that dogs provide has rapidly expanded. The likelihood of coming in contact with a working service dog team is growing, yet the general public has little appreciation of these wonderful animals, their jobs, or how to interact with the people who use them. Moreover, the demand for an increased number of service dogs trained to help people with disabilities grows. Consequently we have made it our mission is to aid this challenge. We also aim to provide a higher level of understanding about service dog law, service dog etiquette, and service dog puppy raising to help the service dog industry reach a higher level of consciousness.
