We are searching volunteers who are fluent SOMALI to help us translate materials for our upcoming Spring 2021 season at Girls on the Run.
As of now, our volunteer translation needs consist of translating several statements that are "evergreen" and can be use to create future marketing fliers for families. We would send you an excel document with short statements listed in English and ask that you translate them in the next column. We have approximately 20-30 short statements for you to translate. We may also ask for you to review already translated statements to ensure accuracy of work completed by past volunteers.
By translating our recruitment materials, we will be able to reach more diverse families and girls to participate in our program, which is a central goal of our organization. We want to ensure that our programs are accessible to ALL families.
We are willing to work with your available time commitment. Please reach out if you would like to help out!
