Fostering marketplaces -online and physical- where women earn 100% of respective sales revenue and give back through free art education. Our calls for creative work are public, with inclusive outreach to minority and underserved communities. Fostering a national movement that empowers women-identifying artists, designers and makers to earn a living wage through their work. Nurturing a world where beauty has value and women work together to succeed. Constructing an organization where corporations sponsor many women small business owners and artists, under one roof. Creating a disruptive, online alternative to Amazon or Etsy, where the best women creators thrive.

Description
THE NEW LOCAL fosters a network of women artists, designers and makers across the country, culminating in a single online community. We reclaim prime brick and mortar spaces, creating community centers and providing women a place to sell and show their work. TNL promotes continued education to the public, hosting workshops in subjects ranging from creative application to business acumen. Classes are free to the public and available online. These tools help women thrive. And when women thrive, our communities thrive.
