The purpose of the Surgery Waiting Desk volunteer is to provide comfort and support to families/friends of patients in surgery. They will be responsible for providing communication on patients in the SAU/PACU/Surgery areas to their family/friends in the Surgery Waiting Lobby. In addition, the Surgery Waiting Desk volunteer will provide general information and directions to guests in the lobby area. The Surgery Waiting Desk volunteer will maintain a clean comfortable friendly area for families to await news of their loved one.

Volunteer Services is currently seeking adult and student volunteers. We currently have 3 categories of volunteers: High School, at least 16 years old and a Sophomore, College and Adults, adults, primarily not in school. When applying, please indicate which category you are.
