Ambercare Hospice

Become a Hospice Volunteer. Ambercare needs compassionate individuals 18 years of age and older to provide support to patients at the end of life. We are implementing a new program called the Peaceful Passing Program which is no one dies alone. We need compassionate individuals who would like to support families and patients at end of life. Hospice volunteers offer their skills in listening, empathy and companionship to patients and families during the profound period of transition that is the end of life. As a hospice volunteer you can make a difference in simple ways: our volunteers might play chess, read aloud, take walks, or watch old movies with their patients. Please join our skilled and compassionate team of caregivers and become part of our dynamic community of volunteers.
