Love to read? Volunteer are needed for the Inside Literacy Program. This program allows you to help low-level inmates improve their reading skills beyond just functional, and assist non-English speakers with learning basic English. By sharing your personal and professional experiences, you'll serve as a role model to assist inmates to envision a successful future.
Benefits to you? Improve your professional development skills such as leadership, presentation, and time management. It will connect you with the greater community and give you a sense of satisfaction! Description
The Jackson County United Way Volunteer Action Center was created in November of 2010 to connect the volunteers of Jackson County to the agencies who are in need of their skills and services.
