Villa 1 Community Development, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to empower low to moderate income families through social services and community building while creating and preserving quality affordable housing communities. We are currently assisting families in the Metro-Atlanta by currently providing mobile services in communities significantly affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Administrative Assistant will assist the Executive Director as needed. Responsibilities will include managing the Executive Director’s mailbox. Assisting with major administrative tasks including organizing contacts, editing documents, formatting presentations, and other administrative tasks. Assisting the Executive Director in monitoring LinkedIn content posts and messaging. Basic bookkeeping assistance in entering receipts to online bookkeeping platforms, creating invoices, and quotations. This volunteer position is for someone who wants to gain some hands-on experience in the nonprofit management industry, or as an unpaid internship in coordination with the applicant’s school. We require a minimum of 25 volunteer hours per month, with a flexible schedule and all work can be done remotely.
