We are reaching out because the St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce has a volunteer opportunity that you might be interested in. Giving Tuesday, an international event held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. is a movement to create an international day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season. The Chamber will be participating this year - and we need your help!
We are looking for individuals who are willing to be social media ambassadors for our organization on this particular day, posting various times throughout the day to drive traffic to the website and increase donations for our organization as part of the charitable day. Ideally, this ambassador will be outgoing and excited about the Chamber, be active on various channels of social media and available on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 for multiple hours to post on the various channels.

The St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce is committed to developing a strong local arts and culture network that effectively supports local artists and markets the region as an arts destination. We support artists and arts organizations as they build their businesses and the region into a vibrant and kinetic arts community. The St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce advocates for all genres of the arts, from drawing to dance, storytelling to theatre, fiber arts to sculpture, and all creative arts avenues in between.
Description
Frequently called upon to assist individual artists develop their businesses, a pattern emerged: St Louis region artists needed to network better to support their businesses while growing their patron base as well as learn and implement key business practices. Thus was born the St Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce.
Goals:
Provide business supports, programs and opportunities to individual artists and arts organizations.
Bring together the arts community in the region to produce collaborative programs identifying St. Louis region as an arts destination.
Four programs:
City wide arts and conservation collaborative exhibitions.
City wide arts and social issues collaborative exhibitions.
Annual regional indoor arts fair.
Business Development Programs.
Silent Skies St. Louis was the arts/nature program. 45 arts and conservation partners from the Art Museum to the Zoo are supporting the physical exhibit. The virtual exhibition is currently available. The Stl Arts Chamber has been actively engaging the community with arts and nature through its Lights Out Project, presentated Bird Origami and Nature for the virtual Earth Day 365, modified the presentation on Bird Origami with Math and Science for Educate.Today. As a lasting legacy of the Silent Skies St. Louis Project, the Lights Out St. Louis Project created by the Stl Arts Chamber will be managed by the St. Louis Audubon Society.
We are currently creating the physical and virtual regional arts expo and the Art Heals Violence Project.
