Program Overview
Earn It! Keep It! Save It! (EKS) is a community organization partnership facilitated by United Way that provides free income tax assistance for low wageworking families and individuals. Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa serves as a host location for these servicesthroughout tax season.
Position Details
As a resource coordinator, you will connect tax preparation clients to other resources available through Catholic Charities such as CalFresh and Medi-Cal.
Responsibilities
Attend trainings and an orientation at Catholic Charities
Learn about the programs available through Catholic Charities
Speak with clients about their needs and refer them to the appropriate resources
Sign clients up for appointments and workshops that will help them meet their needs
Skills
Willingness to learn new skills and attend trainings
Organized and comfortable handling paperwork
Comfortability working with clients from diverse backgrounds including those with limited English ability
Spanish proficiency required

For those struggling with poverty, any and all who are suffering from hunger, lack of healthcare, for those who are falling through the cracks, we're an open door, a friendly ear, and a helping partner in getting back to standing tall. We provide over 20 programs of service to nearly 80,000 people each year. We welcome people of all faiths, races, gender, and sexual orientation--and we serve the entire region the Diocese of Santa Rosa touches--Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake , Humboldt, and Del Norte counties. Catholic Charities is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
