Thinking about a career in Marketing or Communications? Want to get some first hand experience to get a better idea of what that might look like?
If you have a few hours free during the week (Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm), are social media savvy, creative, and have a heart for those experiencing homelessness, then the Marketing Department at the Tacoma Rescue Mission would love your help!
Examples of tasks you might work on in this volunteer position:
- create social media posts
- organize digital pictures into usable files
- take pictures of various events, people, places around the Mission
- edit newsletters and other communications

Mission Statement
We help all people; including clients, volunteers, donors and staff, to become their best. We provide emergency services such as shelter and food to the homeless or hurting; offer self-sufficiency programs to help lift a person from poverty and break the chains of addiction; support prevention programs and share our Christian faith.
Description
Without your gift of service, we are not able to accomplish the work we do. By volunteering, you are able to walk alongside those in need throughout our community and be a symbol of hope to the hurting individuals that are experiencing homelessness. Whether you are an individual, family or group, we would love to find a volunteer opportunity for you!
