Our goal- providing comfort and dignity

Our focus is on our patients, their families and caregivers. In our Bridge Hospice office we are in need of a few dedicated volunteers that will help in the office.
We have admission binders that our doctors and nurses use while tending to our patients and the needs of their treatment. Basic administrative skills are a must. Also simple skills help us when done week after week. We assist our doctors, nurses, case managers so that they can meet the needs of our patients.

If you are able to donate 2 hours of your time each week, we will have you help us in the office where your volunteer hours do the most good. Patient care and volunteering can look many ways. Helping us help our patients is a wonderful way to volunteer!

We train, orient, give you a flu shot, and have you go through basic protocols to become a volunteer for us.

contact me and lets find a time to meet.

Mission Statement

At Bridge Hospice we are committed to excellence in serving our community. Our goal is to improve the quality of a persons life through pain management and symptom control, and to provide emotional and spiritual support to the patient and their family.

Bridge Hospice is More than medical care for a patient. It is a support for the entire family and or caregiver.

Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort and support compassionately to patients and their families when a life limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatment. Hospice care neither prolongs, nor hastens death, but rather focuses on the quality of life’s possibilities. The goal of Hospice is to improve the quality of patient’s remaining days by delivering exceptional care with an emphasis on comfort, dignity, and compassion. Volunteers play a big part of meeting the needs of our families.
