Join Safest Drug as our next volunteer Co-Director!

Safest Drug's mission is to prevent and alleviate medication-related illness, disability, and death in the United States. We also raise awareness about medication harm and work to change the national dialogue and tone towards this issue.

We're looking for someone who aids in our monthly duties. This may include:

  • building external partnerships
  • managing big-donor events/relations
  • monitoring grant submissions and deadlines
  • executing strategies (e.g. projects, social media activity)
The ideal volunteer possesses experience with nonprofit management. Must be commit 3-5 hours of volunteer work per month, and serve for at least 2 years. College education preferred.

Description

Founded in 2019, Safest Drug was formed to address broad systemic issues in the U.S. which place millions of consumers at risk for medication-related morbidity and mortality every day. Our work aims to broaden the understanding of what it means to be medicated in America while also saving lives and recognizing that the wide array of root causes which contribute to this public health problem. We also aim to alleviate the suffering of those who have been impacted by medication-induced poor health outcomes and disability.
