We are looking for crafty volunteers to help our hospice patients and their families! These are examples of the types of crafting we are looking for:

  • Making memory bears for our patient's families. These special bears will be made from patient's clothing after their death. The family will choose a specific shirt worn by their loved one and we will make a small bear and "dress" the bear with the patient's shirt.
  • Making fidget blankets for our memory care patients. These blankets help stimulate the brain and release stress.
  • Also, if there is a craft that you really love to do and that you think would benefit our patients, we are open to any ideas!

If you are familiar with stitching or sewing (or you're willing to learn) we’d love to have your help!
