The Nature Center is a terrific place to volunteer. We welcome corporations, service organizations, and private groups of 10+ volunteers to help with various projects and Special Events.
To schedule your group’s volunteer date, call Volunteer Manager Charles McLaughlin at 770-394-3322
Serve Safely
We have guidelines in place to ensure a socially-safe environment:
- Spread out over 22 acres of preserved woodlands
- Feel safe with health screenings for every volunteer (temperature checks with infrared thermometer)
- Stay responsible with a max group size of 25 people
We also ask that volunteers bring a mask, snacks, a water bottle, and their own pair of gloves. We will have a water cooler available, but we cannot offer cups or food at this time. Masks are only needed if social distancing cannot be maintained. We make a point to spread out volunteers so that social distancing is not an issue while they are working.
