Pets & People Support Program Donation Attendant
Animal Care League
Are you interested in harnessing the power of community to help care for animals and people in need? Here at Animal Care League, we're working hard to meet those needs and provide more social services for both ends of the leash. We understand the strength of the human/animal bond, which is why we're working hard to keep animals with their people to prevent them from being admitted into our shelter. Because although we have a capable shelter to take in relinquished pets, the goal will almost always be to keep pets with their people.
Food and supplies for our Pets & People Support Program will be donated through the generosity of our community partners and be distributed to animals and people in need; thus, we will need administrative and delivery support provided by our volunteers to help us maintain this program. This will be a supplemental service and availability will depend on our donor contributions. ACL’s Pets & People Support Program is also in the beginning stages of implementation and conception, thus it's currently a pilot program and volunteer responsibilities may change.
ACL Donation Attendant volunteers will assist in collecting donations during in-shelter Food and Supply Drives, assist the PPSP Administrative Assistant in taking food and supply inventory, organize the PPSP pantry, and prepare care packages and supplies for delivery.
