You can help bring food, dignity, and hope to our neighbors across Oak Park and its surrounding villages! As a PPSP Delivery volunteer, you will personally ensure that our neighbors are provided with nourishing food for their pets who are at risk of hunger, as well as other supplies and resources as needed. Your support makes an immediate impact to relieve our community members from making the heart-wrenching decision to surrender their beloved pets.
ACL volunteers will assemble packages to include food and supplies for pets and work with social service agencies and individual community members to deliver care packages to clients and will report to the Volunteer Coordinator and/or the PPSP Administrative Assistant. ACL’s volunteer team will also make contactless donation pick-ups and drop-offs from and to those without access to transportation and/or who are at high risk for contracting COVID-19.
Pets & People Support Program care packages and supplies will be delivered to those residing in and around Cook County, focusing on communities that Animal Care League directly serves: Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Elmwood Park, North Riverside, Northlake, and Melrose Park.

Description
The Animal Care League is a limited admission shelter located in Oak Park. We help homeless cats, dogs and other small animals by providing them food, shelter, medical attention and love until we can find them a loving home. As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we depend on the generosity of our communities to help us meet our goals of finding new homes for as many animals as possible each year.
