We are in need of volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of our animals by cleaning and sanitizing throughout the shelter! General Shelter Support (GSS) volunteers play a crucial role in caring for the basic needs of the animals residing in our shelter. This volunteer will assist the Animal Care staff with supportive tasks: sanitize animal areas/enclosures, litter pans, dog crates, bowls, and toys; laundry; sweep and mop common areas; assist with trash/recycling collection; fill food, water, and litter bins; put away supply deliveries, and other duties as assigned. Our animals make a lot of dishes and laundry, so this person should be hard-working, and ready to help our Animal Care staff to ensure that our animals are receiving the best care possible as they wait for their forever homes!
