We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager. This will be an exciting and diverse project management position as it will involve coordinating high-tech development through to production and then from production distribution. This is all at an international level with software, electronic, mechanical, and medical professionals all making contributions to this project followed by conversion of prototypes into production designs and production itself.

We need a project manager to keep all our task activities reporting information and progress up to date within our "Confluence" project system. Primarily the owner of each task would be feeding the information into the system but of course sometimes clarification and/or reminders are needed.

As the work involves developing and providing medical equipment to countries that could otherwise not afford it this is a noble pursuit.

There is no total time requirement, but it is expected that the project manager will keep on top of the information flow so as information is made available in a timely way. The project manager will be aware how critical this information is for such a complex and extensive project.

This opportunity is only available to those who have had previous project management experience or have had extensive studies and are willing to make up the difference of their lack of experience with a solid effort. Experience with a technical discipline would be a considerable asset.

If you feel you have the knowledge and skills necessary to assist with this position and you are interested in volunteering with us, please apply directly through our organization here:

Mission Statement

Our mission is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the world's medical workforce fighting COVID-19

Description

We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization.
Our equipment will be distributed on a "what you can pay" basis. Our Ventilator is different from other emergency Ventilators in that it will be controllable over the Internet, with the medical professional observing the patient over a phone camera, thus reducing viral load on the medical professionals at the front line, enabling those in stable countries to help and allowing one doctor to have an overview over many patients.

Our Ventilator is now in testing and we are finalizing fine air control. Parts cost for a single unit are 300$ but will drop in mass production and bulk ordering maybe even down to 200$.

Our roadmap consists of 4 Versions which can be deployed over the internet. It is envisaged that the Ventilator will be assembled by qualified volunteers, go through centralized quality control and then distributed to places of greatest needs on an international basis. Once enough funding is raised, a part of the workload will be outsourced to specialized companies.
