The STEAM Generation is seeking volunteer Copywriters interested in sharing their talents with local nonprofit organizations. The pro bono Copywriter is responsible for creating the marketing copy for website, brochure, key messages, or social media projects and will work closely with the staff to improve existing marketing copy.

The STEAM Generation offers a range of opportunities to engage in meaningful pro bono work, depending on the time you have available. You can work on a large-scale team-based project over several months, tackle more bite-sized challenges that can be delivered in a day, or address needs that fall in between. We has virtual opportunities to suit your interest!

Desired Skills and Expertise:

A successful pro bono Copywriter:

- Has 3+ years of experience in copywriting at a marketing or advertising firm

- Must have the ability to translate ideas and concepts into words

- Be able to take direction and feedback from the team and client.

Description

The STEAM Generation brings science, technology, engineering, Art, and math (STEAM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and workshops. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching STEAM concepts through hands-on learning.
