RICAN is a non profit food pantry located in Charlestown RI serving the Washington County area. People who are food insecure can't always come to our weekly food distribution located at our facility. It could be due to medical issues or not having transportation, and as a result we are meeting their needs by providing home delivery. We are looking for 3-5 volunteers who would be interested in providing home delivery to these residents in need. We currently have a small amount of families receiving home delivery but expect that demand to grow as we head into the winter months. There are some safety protocol's that should be followed such as never entering someone's home and only leaving the food on their doorstep.
