FFF is a non-profit organization that supports community initiatives by promoting the establishment of sustainable systems that help improve the livelihood and living conditions of underserved communities. We have been determined to make an impact in one community at a time. These communities are often forgotten by most help organizations due to their location and accessibility. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs. We currently work in a remote rural village in the Southwestern part of Madagascar where people are still living in extreme poverty, with no infrastructure and victims of drought. We are working to find grants for building a school with sanitation facilities and providing water supplies pair with a project promoting cultivation of trees and vegetable garden to help with the villagers livelihood, water supply and retention.

GOALS

* Provide volunteer support to Future For our Friends by assisting with grant writing/research

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking self-motivated individuals or groups with experience writing proposals to assist our organization with writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects. Major responsibilities will include, conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation and corporate sources, performing prospect research on foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and foundation grants, assisting with other fundraising projects as requested and working with the Executive Director to provide development input for all written institutional materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals, good editing skills and attention to detail,

- Knowledge of grant information sources, knowledge of basic fundraising techniques and strategies and knowledge and familiarity with research techniques for grant prospect research.
