Ocean Conservation


Sea Save Foundation is committed to advocating for ocean conservation changes. We analyze public issues within the United States and around the world, create strategies, and drive public advocates to decision-makers.

We work on a wide variety of important issues, from endangered species protection, shark finning, curbing plastic pollution, and other issues critical to ocean health. Our campaigns challenge decision-makers to vote for ocean-friendly policies and laws.

We use the Internet-based, Salsa Labs email marketing tool to load and send our newsletters. We are seeking a team member who will facilitate the loading of our newsletters. We want to onboard you so you can begin to help us schedule and produce future newsletters. SalsaLabs is an intuitive tool similar to Mailchimp.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants need to have fluent English writing, reading, and speaking skills. Applicants must be detail-oriented and highly organized, with a friendly and professional demeanor and the maturity to manage confidential and/or sensitive information. They have an outstanding work ethic while being flexible.

Sea Save Foundation stands witness to the health of the oceans and the threats they face, we document problems and develop solutions, arm people with knowledge, and tools so they can make a difference. With the public as our ally, we go to the United Nations and other global bodies to effect international change. We attend these meetings so we can offer creative, economically viable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly plans to decision-makers. We also make sure everyone is doing their best to meet their targets.

Description

Sea Save Foundation approaches conservation from two fronts:

  1. We develop and promote inspiring educational campaigns that showcase the beauty of ocean flora and fauna and underscore the current challenges facing our marine ecosystems.
  2. We couple serious environmental issues with concrete advocacy campaigns undertaken by our supporters and partners. With these programs, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation and create sustainable, healthy ecosystems for generations to come. It’s your ocean. Do something about it!
