The Salvation Army Doing The Most Good

Our annual Angel Tree program is going to look different this year and we need your help to make it happen! So many families have been impacted by Covid 19. Many of them find themselves in a position where they won't be able to provide a special Christmas for their children.

We have needs for folks to help us get our warehouse set up; volunteers to help accept and sort gifts and volunteers to help distribute the gifts from the warehouse. We have many days and shifts to fill.

We will be practicing social distancing and mask wearing to protect our volunteers and staff. Visit our volunteer page to see the ops and to sign up.

Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

Its message is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The vision of The Salvation Army has always been to lead men and women into a proper relationship with God. The Army recognizes that a physical, emotional and social restoration must go hand in hand with spiritual rebirth. The Army practices an integrated ministry, uniting spiritual, social and physical support.

Social-service programs are a practical expression of the dominating spiritual motivation of The Salvation Army. Aid is given wherever and whenever the need is apparent, without distinction as to race or creed. There are no demands for adherence, simulated or real, to the principles of The Salvation Army.
