VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENTS

Conversations To Remember is looking for high school & college students who want to volunteer with our charity. Once a week 2 or 3 students do a video call with a senior citizen who is in an assisted living facility. Most of the residents that we are working with have some form of cognitive decline. There is a short training session (virtual) and the student will also virtually shadow a more experienced volunteer on one call before doing it themselves. The calls last about an hour, and we have 2 or 3 students doing it together. During the virtual visit, students don't have to be physically together, they can each be on their own device.

Since COVID-19 these residents have been unable to leave the facilities or have many (if any) visitors. They are lonely, and enjoy speaking with students.

For more information, and to submit an interest form, go to www.ConversationsToRemember.org.

**The best way to respond to this is to complete the volunteer interest form at https://conversationstoremember.org/volunteer/
