We are in need of volunteers to pick up furniture donations and/or assist with moving furniture and household items for homeless individuals and families. Items range in weight and size. Heavy lifting is especially needed, but other opportunities exist to help with light lifting (5-10 lbs). Volunteer must have their own transportation or be able to carpool. Items are transported in our vehicles from McCalla to any location within the metro Birmingham and surrounding area such as Centerpoint, Trussville, Irondale, etc.

We adhere to CDC social distancing and mask wearing guidelines as a precaution and prevention. We do not interact with anyone who is known to have COVID-19 symptoms or diagnosis. We have contactless donation pick up and minimal contact for delivery.

This is an ongoing need.
