This is a fully remote role
Project Overview
We are looking for a volunteer PR expert to manage messaging and outreach to the media and Congress. You will play a key role in our organization’s goal to request additional funding for the National Archives from lawmakers in D.C.
If you are passionate about history and veterans’ advocacy, you will feel right at home with us.
Primary Responsibilities
- Driving the strategy for media relations and outreach
- Media list development, pitch development, and direct media pitching
- Perform news release distribution and recommend news media platforms
- Analyze and synthesize data to be presented to lawmakers
