Have a large group (up to 35 people) looking for an in-person volunteer opportunity while still following health guidelines?
We invite you to schedule a "Take Over Day" at the Tacoma Rescue Mission. We'll reserve a day for your group, you'll split up into smaller groups of 6-8 people and each of those small group will fill one of the volunteer shifts available throughout the day.
Take Over Day is perfect for military, corporate team-building, schools, churches, or any other large group.
The Rescue Mission is open 7 days a week, so we can work with your schedule!

We provide emergency services such as shelter and food to the homeless or hurting; offer self-sufficiency programs to help lift a person from poverty and break the chains of addiction; support prevention programs and share our Christian faith.
Description
Without your gift of service, we are not able to accomplish the work we do. By volunteering, you are able to walk alongside those in need throughout our community and be a symbol of hope to the hurting individuals that are experiencing homelessness. Whether you are an individual, family or group, we would love to find a volunteer opportunity for you!
