North Marin Community Services invites you to join us in facilitating the gift of giving and experience the true meaning of the holidays.
Our Holiday Share Toy Drive has been bringing the magic of the holidays to vulnerable children and families in North Marin for 48 years. This treasured program serves families facing financial hardship during the holiday season.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us set up and distribute gifts to families in need on December 18 and 19. Morning and afternoon shifts are available on both days; teens aged 15 and up are welcome to volunteer.
On 12/18 - Volunteers will help our staff sort and create gift bags for families in our community.
On 12/19 - Volunteers will set up for the event in the morning, and distribute gifts to families in the afternoon.
Our volunteer opportunities comply with COVID-19 safety requirements. Volunteers are required to wear a mask, which we can provide. All volunteers must fill out a volunteer application. We will have these on-site, but you can also sign one in advance.

What We Do: Both Novato Youth Center (NYC) and Novato Human Needs Center (NHNC) had over 40-year histories of serving people in need in Novato and our surrounding communities. Now stronger together as North Marin Community Services (NMCS), our 60 staff and 300 volunteers serve 10,000+ youth, adults and families annually. Currently over 75% of those we serve are from low-income families, and our three program areas (Child Development, Health & Wellness, and Family & Community Engagement) work together to yield great impacts.
