Companionship. A simple word, but so meaningful.

At LHC Group, we provide Hospice care to those in their final stages as well as bringing an extra layer of support to the table for their friends/families. Maybe you have free time and want to make a difference. Maybe you like to play games, and could entertain a client with your competitive streak. Maybe you like to sing, and you're willing to share your gift of music with them. Maybe you can share your spirituality with those who seek it. Regardless of your skillset, there is someone out there in need of a friend; a family in need of assistance as they walk through these final stages with their loved one. Patients, and families alike, would be grateful to have an extra helping hand...a conversation to ease their minds...a companion to make their days less lonely.

If any of this speaks to you, we would love to meet you.

We understand if you are only interested in phone calls/writing/non-face-to-face activities due to COVID-19, that is great too. Love comes in all forms and any that you're willing to share with our clients is welcome. In-person meetings will require proper PPE as to ensure everyone stays healthy.

Drug screens, background checks, and references are required.

It's all about helping people.

Description

LHC Group started with one simple decision - to accept responsibility and voluntarily care for a few needy and vulnerable individuals in one small community. Our founders wanted to make lives better by providing vital healthcare services with a focus on quality, service to people first, and genuine empathy.

While our size and scope have changed, our values remain rooted in those foundational principles of community, family, and service. We are proud of our enduring adherence to this set of standards and consider it one of our organization’s most distinguishing features.
