True Heart is seeking volunteers who are looking for a rewarding volunteering experience!
This includes phone call or in-person visits, reading, walking, talking, watching tv, and spending time with patients! You can help provide support for family members by giving them time to complete errands or help with household duties.
Have some artistic abilities? We are always looking for ways to treat our patients! Creating cards, performing music concerts, or providing haircuts are just a few of the ways you can make a patient feel special.
Have limited time? Phone calls or delivering goods to patients are always needed and appreciated.
Have an idea or talent you can provide? We always try to think outside of the box and welcome new ideas to bring comfort to our patients. Contact us and we can find a way to incorporate your talents!
The volunteer process consists of an application, orientation, TB test and background check. This process ensures safety for our patients and volunteers are prepared for working with a patient on hospice.
Following CDC guidelines, we are requiring all volunteers and patients to wear masks and practice social distancing during any in-person visits.

Description
True Heart Hospice and Palliative Care was started by two hospice nurses with years of hospice experience and a passion for helping people in need. With a desire to help the most underserved, we travel far and wide to make sure great hospice care is available.
We serve the Austin and surrounding areas, from Lulling to Bastrop, Georgetown to Temple. We provide the level of care that you want and need, from your home, and provide support during an often difficult time.
