Do you have a passion for helping older adults? Volunteering with Marin Villages could be perfect for you! Our seniors need our support more than ever. Marin Villages is actively recruiting new volunteers in Marin County to provide services normally asked of friends, family members or neighbors.

As a volunteer you will fulfill a variety of "direct service" assignments for our Marin Villages members, each with their own individual needs. These range from providing rides to important medical appointments, picking up groceries or prescriptions, dog walking, handyman services, to simply having a friend to chat or walk with on a regular basis. There are no set schedules - you simply sign up for assignments that fit your time and interests. You also have the benefit of volunteering locally, within YOUR OWN community! Please join us today in making a major difference in the lives of older adults in Marin!

Please call (415) 457-4633 or email volunteers@ marinvillages.org if interested. To learn more about us, please visit www.marinvillages.org. Marin Villages is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Mission Statement

Marin Villages is dedicated to helping older adults stay active, connected and independent in the place they call home. We are powered through our dedicated volunteer network that works to build community through social and educational events as well as delivery of direct volunteer assistance. We are active throughout Marin, except in Sausalito and West Marin. We are looking for passionate volunteers who can directly assist seniors and/or work with our organization to grow and build our presence in Marin County. Our volunteer services range from providing rides to medical appointments, running errands like grocery shopping, companionship calls, to dog walking. In addition, our volunteers plan events, outings and educational programs. We have very flexible time commitments--our volunteers pick which service requests they want based on their interests and schedule. All volunteers require background checks and those who volunteer to drive our members will also need a DMV check. Visit our website at www.marinvillages.org for more information and to download a volunteer application. Alternatively, you can call us at 415-457-4633 or email us at volunteers@marinvillages.org.
