Organization Website: https://palsnpets.org/ Mission or Broader Program Description: PalsNPets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to unhoused pet owners and their pets, providing services specific to the needs of this group through partnerships with shelters. Pets are often the only thing an unhoused individual has to care about, and many shelters don’t allow pets. Working with shelters to make them pet-friendly also allows us to work with these individuals who are often the most in need and often have a higher potential to build a better future...two lives at a time.Days: Monday & Wednesday Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: You will meet the assigned volunteer at each location for distribution to our residents/pets. Some storage organization. Hours per day: 2-3 Miles: 45 Requirements: Use of personal vehicle, insurance and gas. Good driving record. Valid license and insurance. We ask volunteers to wear face masks and maintain 6ft social distance whenever possible. Additional Details: Donation receipt every 6 months for time and mileage.
