HERE TO SERVE is looking for a SEO specialist to work pro bono in supporting our mission to mobilize people and resources to meet daily living requirements of families struggling with pediatric cancer who do not qualify for government assistance.

ABOUT HERE TO SERVE:

We believe a child or young parent’s cancer diagnosis is a life-altering "journey." For that reason, the care and support of the family are required to prevent parent(s) from losing their physical and mental health, home, job, and entering into bankruptcy. Therefore, we provide wraparound services to meet the daily living needs of young families navigating cancer.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Your role will be to help us manage our website and SEO activities needed to optimize the website for search. These activities may include link building and technical implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify KPIs to improve SEO performance
  • Develop the SEO strategy
  • Implement SEO activities
  • Analyze and report results on website SEO performance and keywords
  • Conduct keyword research and provide recommendation

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum volunteer hours expected: 5-6 hours per week
  • Bachelor's degree required, in Marketing preferred.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as an SEO specialist.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and WordPress.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Lives in the U.S.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Word and project management tools such as Trello.

Description

Research Coordinator who can work with an Access database on ShareForce. Need someone research organizations online and through phone calls updating organizations with correct information, contacts and categories of service they provide. Need to delete defunct organizations and add news ones as found through online research.
