Needpedia is a wiki designed to bring people together over the best ideas on Earth, so naturally it should have a social media presence. We need help with that.

This largely boils down to how we want to be portrayed online, so I'll share a bit about Needpedia's position, goals, and abilities.

Abilities:

1: We let you see all listed options for any problem you're having, we can keep it that simple. If that's all a social media expert of ours posted about, it would be very helpful. We can always look for someone to fill more roles, we built a vault for all good ideas, we figure that's bound to attract a few people.

2: We let you vote on ideas for anything, so even if it's some giant evil corporation we can still talk about its problems and make proposals for what the company, or its customers, should do. Needpedia is largely about its voting features, because they let us collectivize, and democratize, so many different important things. This could easily be its own social media focus as we can literally vote on things like holidays, and social movements.

3: There's a political layer, we don't support any political parties, but we've created a ton of new, highly specialized tools that will let citizens collaborate with experts. And combined with the voting feature and all the other tools we've provided, we expect people make things political. The fact of the matter is politicians are just a primitive form of information technology, we can prove they're technologically obsolete. -And all we have to do to prove it is reliably outperformed politicians with our specialized information technology and overwhelming numbers. They're at the point where they usually don't even read the bills they pass anymore, whereas we're at the point where everyone's fed up, and looking for new ideas.

Goals:

-Reach lots of people. Get them to check Needpedia out.

-Get people to create content on Needpedia.

-Reach people and groups with special resources or fame.

-Fun. Governance and optimization are boring, we need to embrace how hilarious some of the social encounters we're going to create are and embrace them, with humor. All work and no play make the potential clients go away.

Position:

-Needpedia is about hearing from everyone about what the problems are, and the potential solutions. Needpedia is about creating a ballot where everyone's ideas can be included. Needpedia does not support any political party, or endorse any political candidate.

That said, we are about realizing humanity's fullest potential, and in the larger picture, that's called being a "progressive", because all we want to do is progress to better standards of life, and ecological sustainability. Whereas "conservatives" generally want to "conserve" traditional values. Which is great when it's not a problem for anybody. But often they cling to ideas like homophobia, and sexism. So I don't think it's worth trying to pretend we're neutral. We're not. People are dying just so others can make money and it's time to point a giant ass spotlight at them, and make the world a safer place. It's not right that we have to fear dying outside like some kind of animal if we can't cough up hundreds of dollars every single month of our lives. There's a natural cost of housing, but there's no reason we have to let people freeze to death outside like dogs. Hell, we don't even have to let the dogs freeze, we have the technology!

That's kind of a complicated position isn't it? (not the pro dog part, lol) Technically there's already a lot of support for a lot of the ideas Needpedia supports too, with some of them being considered "political". Such as direct democracy groups, and open source governance advocates. But there's also a world of evils and beauty to be examined on its own too.
