Needpedia is a wiki that's made to spread the best ideas on Earth. It hasn't even officially gone online yet so for now it's basically a blank canvas. We need people to make content, but we also need people to help us network and promote.

Everyone's welcome to create posts for ideas they like on Needpedia, but this Volunteermatch post is for the networkers and promoters.

Promoting Needpedia can be as simple as sharing interesting content with people and groups on other sites. However it can also be more involved, some specialize in making videos, others are better with ideas.

Speaking of which, Needpedia can also be used to optimize Needpedia, so if there's a problem, or you have an idea, feel free to share your insights with the community there too.

Also as the founder I'm definitely interested in hearing peoples ideas.

Networkers differ from promoters in that they focus more on creating networks. Needpedia has enthusiastically denounced any intention to partner with investors, or corporate or government partnerships because we need to know that if this gets big, we will never have conflicts of interest, or strings attached. No one will be able to pull our funding if we let people criticize governments or other establishments, so this is important. Through Patreon and other services we should be able to run a website. Especially because Needpedia itself can be used for crowdsourcing. -Even for developing sophisticated advertising campaigns. It's unbelievably flexible, you could use it to refine and vote on ideas for goats if you wanted to. -Or random theories, nations, musical instruments. -Literally anything with a name, that we didn't have to ban.

Ideally a networker already has their own idea of what kind of networks they like to build. Some do it for justice, others do it for money, and either way we have options.

Whether you're a hobbyist or a serious activist you know groups who are interested in making things happen, with Needpedia you can do a bunch of different things. Feel free to get creative, a few examples include:

-Sharing posts on Needpedia about important things with groups, possibly adding questions to increase engagement.

-Asking people in a nonprofit or other group what they think the biggest problems with it are, and what their ideas are for potential solutions. And if they would like to see people there put any particular ideas to a vote. With that information you can create posts for that organization or group that get important conversations started, and introduce people to Needpedia's organizational technology.

-Simply by listing your ideas for things that matter to you on Needpedia you begin to build networks, so a networker really could focus on just promoting their ideas through the site and help Needpedia out in the process, tremendously.

Naturally a few of you are wondering how the heck networkers focused on making money would help Needpedia. There's actually a lot of ways, because half of getting money involves getting seen, and, getting information about who needs what. And Needpedia's definitely build to do both.

Needpedia also has a "Have" and "Want" section, which you can literally use to do business or barter. -Lots of interesting networking possibilities there. The same can be said of Needpedia's time bank.
