Volunteer needed for hospice care
Willow is looking for volunteers age 18+ to visit with patients, listen, perhaps hold a hand, read the newspaper, give respite to a family member, provide a meal or even write down special memories a loved one can leave behind. You don’t have to have a lot of experience or even know what to do - we will help you in the process of connecting with someone and providing a much valued service during a critical time for families. If you have time to share and would rather help in an administrative capacity, we have opportunities in the office making bereavement follow-up calls, answering phones, preparing folders, filing and scanning. Wherever your heart and talents lie, we can make it work together for the betterment of someone else!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

At Willow, we understand that the physical care of a patient as they reach the end of life is one aspect to a what is an emotionally challenging time in the patients family life. We believe it is critical to offer emotional support in addition to physical care to support the patient and family as they move through this chapter. We have experts on staff to navigate these sensitive and complex topics so the patients' family members can spend more time focusing on their loved one.
