As an Application Advisor you will proofread, review, and edit the participant’s first draft of their application. Using the Application Feedback Form and the specific points presented in the training video, you will advise what corrections need to be implemented for our clients to create their "Pristine" Application Template. This role is suitable for individual volunteers who possess great literacy skills, an attention to detail and the ability to give constructive advice in a clear, concise, and gracious manner. Specific training will be required in order to participate.

Helping people in transition build a new life through work and faith.
The WorkFaith Connection's mission is to help people in transition build a new life through work and faith. WorkFaith is a Christ-centered organization that exists to encourage disadvantaged job seekers in their hope for a better future and to equip them with the skills and beliefs to gain employment and lead healthy, productive and spiritually rich lives.
How We Accomplish Our Mission
The WorkFaith Connection program goes much deeper than simply teaching someone how to fill out an application and where to look for work. We teach our clients how to be great employees, how to serve their employers and how to thrive in the workplace, while growing in their faith throughout the journey. The effectiveness of the WorkFaith program is reinforced by building and maintaining long-term relationships with our students. To help our clients build a new life through work and faith, we offer a four-stage program:
- Recruitment and Selection of Participants
- Eight-Day Job Readiness Bootcamp
- Job Attainment
- Job Retention and Advancement
