During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Transport volunteer members are responsible for transporting animals safely from one destination to another, typically from Dogs All Day to the Humane Society of Utah for vaccination and spay/neuter appointments. Volunteers are responsible for the safe transport of animals, ensuring safe handling of animals during the entire process of the transport. Volunteers will NOT be asked to transport people or human clients.
Ruff Haven will provide liability insurance, which covers the volunteer's personal vehicle. Direct animal handling required.
Please fill out a Volunteer application at www.ruffhaven.org/volunteer. Thank you!

Our mission is to provide a temporary safe haven for companion animals in order to keep pets and their people together in times of crisis, increase pet retention, and decrease the number of animals entering the shelter system.
Our organization provides temporary emergency fostering services for people experiencing a crisis. We board pets at both a dog boarding facility (yes, even cats!), as well as individual foster homes. As of June 2020 we have reunified over 30 families with their beloved furry family members. We also hosted Utah's first completely free drive-thru vaccination clinic. Our main focus is pet retention and keeping people with their pets.
We'll work with your schedule.
