Looking to make a difference in your community? Join Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s Adopt-A-River Program! Sponsored by MMSD, Adopt-A-River is connecting community members to our waterways and creating a healthier, more sustainable environment. Adopt a portion of the Milwaukee, Menomonee or Kinnickinnic rivers and commit to hosting two cleanups a year to take care of your section. Milwaukee Riverkeeper provides supplies and trash removal at no cost to volunteers, so we can work together to make the Milwaukee River Basin healthier! For more info, go to Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s Adopt-A-River Page or contact the Volunteer Coordinator at adoptariver@milwaukeeriverkeeper.org.
